YOU ARE NOT ALONE

The lies we allow get through to us, no one understands what you're going through, no one cares for you, you are not worth anything, you are not beautiful. We fail to look to the one who has stuck closer than a brother. Sometimes we feel empty and lonely, looking for someone to fill the void.
Imagine 2 empty people together; who is filling who.
Who is helping who. We've been given a comforter, a counselor, an intercessor, advocate, strengthener, friend and we still claim we are all alone. How hurtful. We do not realize that while we were claiming to be alone we hurt his feelings, we tell him indirectly that he doesn't exist.
Is there a place we go that he isn't there. Even if we go to Mars he is there, even if we go underground he is there.

"I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night— but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you......Psalm 139:7-12"

Even in our weakness he wants to strengthen us (2 cor 12:9). He doesn't condemn us when we are weak. Besides He being there to help us, he assigns people around us to help us: our leaders, our mentors, our spiritual fathers and spiritual mothers. I want to share with us a story:

I once heard a story about a missionary in a foreign country years ago, whose ministry team traveled by donkey along rugged trails to remote villages in the mountains. They had agreed that if any of them got sick, the rest of the team would go on without them.
One day, this missionary got very sick. He couldn’t ride his donkey, so the team left him in a village with no medical care available.
The missionary got sicker and sicker. He knew that unless God intervened, he might die. By the third night, all he could pray was, “Father, help me.” And he wondered if he would make it through the night.
But the next morning, he was amazed to discover that he was better! He got up and ate some food. By the next day he was able to ride his donkey and catch up with his ministry team in a nearby village.
But there’s more to the story. Two years later this missionary was home on furlough, and while preaching in a church, he told the story of his miraculous healing. After the service a woman approached him and said, “Brother, what was the date of your miraculously healing?”
The missionary checked his journal to see when he had been sick. When he told the woman the date, she held up her prayer journal. They compared entries and discovered that on the exact date he had been lying on his deathbed, she had been awakened in the middle of the night. The Lord gave her an urgent directive to pray for someone in a foreign land.
She prayed fervently for several hours until she got a release and knew the prayer had been answered. Until that day when the missionary spoke at her church, she hadn’t known who had needed intercession. When the missionary was too weak to pray for himself, God arranged for someone else to hold him up in prayer.
